Liivaaugu. A Kiwi House in a Viking Land: New Roots in Old Estonia [colour images ed.]

When a post-middle aged couple from New Zealand decide to build a house in Estonia, people shook their heads and asked why? Sometimes they wondered this themselves too, but over a wet northern summer a house progressed under their hands. This is the story of that season, in that land. It involves not just the trials, errors and obstacles overcome but also the people encountered who helped them on their way. It reflects on a society very different from that of their homeland.
